New and Revised this Week

• Church Picnic at Memorial Park (8/22) This coming Thursday there will be a church picnic at Memorial Park to kick off the academic year and welcome the new and returning students. Dinner will start at 6 PM, but some students and full-timers will arrive as early as 5 PM if you want to join them.

  The church will provide fried chicken. If you are burdened with contributing, community saints can bring a side, salad, desserts, or drinks. To help coordinate, please indicate on this Google sheet what you plan on bringing.

Previously Announced

• Picnic at Coyote Point Park during Labor Day Conference

  As in the last two years, there will be a lunch picnic on Saturday, August 31st at Coyote Pointe Park, from 1 to 3 PM. If you plan to attend, please sign-up at this website by next Lord's Day, August 18th, to help the saints get a headcount for food preparation.

• Holy Word for Morning Revival We continue the HWMR based on the International Chinese Speaking Conference this past February, titled Fighting the Good Fight, Finishing the Course, Keeping the Faith, and Loving the Lord’s Appearing in order to Receive the Reward of Christ as the Crown of Righteousness.  Physical copies are available for purchase in the main hall. • Hotel rooms for the Labor Day NorCal Blending Conference Reservations can now be made for the Labor Day NorCal Blending Conference, we encourage saints to make reservations early due to the limited quantity of rooms. Further information about the conference will be released in the coming weeks.

  • Dates: 7:30 PM Friday, August 30th to 12:00 PM, Lord's Day, September 1st

  • Location: Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport,1333 Bayshore Highway, Burlingame, CA 94010

  • Room Rate: $148.00/night, up to 4 people per room, depending on the room type.

  • Parking: $7.00/day with in/out privileges.

• Donating for the Gospel Trips to France

The saints in Europe are burdened to contact the local people throughout French-speaking Europe to raise up shining lampstands and strengthen the existing churches there. Some saints in the Lord’s Recovery to participate in gospel trips during the torch relay and Olympic Games from May 6 to Sept. 9.
