Nourishment November — Week 1 (Day 1 of 30)

Praise the Lord for this opportunity to dive into the ministry in a regular and healthy way! Every week, we will be posting blog posts and sending out emails to encourage one another in our ministry pursuit! One thing we would like to do for our mutual encouragement in these weekly emails and blog posts is to include anonymized enjoyments and highlights from the saints. “A Good Minister of Christ” (1 Timothy 4:6-16)
The name “Nourishment November” came from 1 Timothy 4:6 which says, “If you lay these things before the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, being nourished with the words of the faith and of the good teaching which you have closely followed.”
In the Recovery Version, this verse, together with verses 7-16, fall under the section, “A Good Minister of Christ.” As we are nourished with the truth, we will be equipped to become good ministers of Christ Jesus. To be a good minister of Christ should be our goal during this ministry reading program and beyond!
For our eating and encouragement, we will include a verse or two from this section of verses at the end of these posts.

Other than that, just enjoy getting into the ministry whether individually or with your companions! We are full of eager anticipation and hope for what the Lord will gain in us during this month!
